The Kill Van Kulls "Songs For Sinners EP"

Released 23rd April 2012

"Full of moody drama, melancholic lyrics, and soaring, sonic melodies, The Kill Van Kulls’ brightly textured electro-pop is loaded with copious amounts of world-weary, digital appeal for today’s emotionally high-strung cyber-youth." My Old Kentucky Blog

“’Impossible Man’ is gigantic, anthemic, alternative rock at its strongest level… we realize how special this is.” Hand Clap Movement

“Their set has Top 10 potential written all over it." The Fly

“A band that exist at a tantalizingly heady intersection of Peter Gabriel, Doves, and
early Simple Minds.” XFM

“’Fools Wish’ is a wonderfully crafted piece of pop heaven.” Pop in Stereo

“If you’re a fan of Hurts, Wolf Gang, and all things 80s, I’m willing to bet you’ll
love the Kill Van Kulls.” I Think I Love

Manchester's The Kill Van Kulls are set to release the 'Songs for Sinners EP' on 23rd April 2012.

In 2011 The Kill Van Kulls offered a taste of their ambitious songwriting with two single releases. Super limited 7" 'Fools Wish' was picked up by blogs such as Wounded Jukebox, My Old Kentucky Blog and Audioporn. The follow up, 'Lost and Found', was named Spinner MP3 of the day, received 4 weeks MTV Rocks playlist support, as well as picking up mentions in NME and The Fly.
The band are very hands in the recording process and recently crafted a DIY recording space at their studio in Stockport. Keen to develop their production skills, The Kill Van Kulls have remixed The Rapture, Icona Pop and Kyla La Grange amongst others. Stream the MP3s here -
The 'Songs For Sinners EP' track listing features the euphoric 'Impossible Man' - the performance from Reading Festival was broadcast on BBC3 as part of their live coverage - as well as three brand new songs. The EP is set for release on 23rd April 2012.

The band will be playing the following dates:

Fri 20th Apr: London, Fan The Fire @ Old Blue Last (free entry)
Sat 19th May: Liverpool Sound City
Thu 24th May: London, Surya w/ The Blood Arm
